Growing statewide company seeking a part-time cashier for the Gaylord area. 

Starting Pay & Position

  • Part-time cashier position accountable to process all cash transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • $12.50 per hour 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
  • Operate computers, scanners, printers, calculators & other office equipment
  • Balance invoices with payments received and reconcile differences resulting from delivery errors
  • Process computer files appropriately and as directed
  • Balance all receipts at the end of the day and prepare bank deposits
  • Keep cashier area clean and orderly

 

Qualifications 

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Preferred 1 year of cash handling experience
  • Able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Breath Alcohol Test, Physical Agility Test, Background Check)
  • Pass a drug test at any time during employment
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules
  • Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS
  • Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position

 

Work Environment

  • This position operates in both a warehouse and professional office environment. 
  • The employee is periodically exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. 
  • Regular use of office equipment may be required.

 

Physical Demands

  • This position requires frequent sitting; the employee will occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; extensive use of computer equipment, such as a keyboard and mouse.
  • The employee must frequently lift, carry, and/or move up to 45 pounds.
  • The employee is regularly required to read, write and communicate in English. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
